Novi Sad Beer Map
A quick 90 minute bus north of Belgrade, or an even quicker 30 minute train, takes you to Serbia’s second-largest city, Novi Sad. Mainly, foreigners know about this city because of the massive Exit Festival of music and art. But this laid-back student city offers much more year-round. In Serbia, many regard it as more cultural and cosmopolitan than Belgrade.
Likewise, Novi Sad’s craft beer scene is quite different. Although a smaller city than Belgrade, it has proportionally more brewpubs for its size. So it’s easy to pair a good local beer with a homemade burger and fries. Breweries like 3Bir Brewery offer wildly experimental brews and Hammer Of God (HOG) make some of the highest-rated IPAs in Serbia.
After visiting the breweries, you can experience Novi Sad’s vibrant student nightlife, with many alternative, artsy bars and clubs. This alternative scene goes hand-in-hand with craft beer, and many of these places have a few craft beers on tap or in bottles.
